2005 FIRST Competition

We worked on the transmissions...

And the chassis...

We experimented with a tetra gripper for the arm...

We built scale models of the tetras and goals...	And life-size versions, too!

The electronics team looked at possible locations and layouts. A couple of the mentors went shopping. We spent time working on arm design/analysis.

The software team created a task list and started exploring the code.

We assembled the chassis and took measurements. We created plans for parts that will strengthen the chassis where the axles are held and provide chain-tensioning, and figured out where to make slots in the chassis.

The wheels needed a little filing so the screws could fit through the hubs.

And of course, we worked some more on the arm design...

The electronics team considered layout possibilities, but we need the chassis and arm designs to be finalized before we can make final plans. We also planned the OI controls and connections.
